LGED Jobs Circular 2023 has been Published. Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) is an organizational department of the Government of Bangladesh. This organization was established by the Government of Bangladesh for technical development planning and assistance in the construction of buildings of various institutions under the jurisdiction of the local government. LGED’s contribution to revitalizing the rural economy is visible today through road connectivity and development of haat-bazars and growth centers in the rural areas. The contribution of these infrastructures in achieving the increasing growth of the country is immense. The people of remote villages are now getting the benefit of using paved roads within a maximum of two kilometers. These rural infrastructures are playing a major role in improving people’s living standards and poverty alleviation.
Apart from rural infrastructure development, LGED is also playing a role in physical infrastructure development in cities and urban areas. LGED is also involved in providing technical support to urban local government institutions and improving the management system and efficiency of these institutions. In order to increase efficiency and speed to manage these tasks, people are publishing recruitment notices. Applications are invited from interested candidates for the said post. LGED will be recruited for a total of 01 vacancies. Only citizens of Bangladesh can apply for self-employed posts. Online application starts from 16th March 2023 and will end on 09th April 2023.
